Spilling the cool beans

So, my last post was a huge failure. But you can't get to success without failure is what I always say. I am going to try to make up for it by telling you my secrets. Yes, I am spilling the beans. My beans. Cool beans.

FAQBNA (Frequently Asked Questioned, But Never Answered) 1:
Why is your name Loren? Who would name their son, Loren? What was the story behind "Loren"? WHY DO YOU HAVE A GIRL NAME?
SBI (Secret Behind It or Secret Beans Inside):
I actually wondered about this, too. I asked my dad during my 2009 summer one day and he told me that during the time, he watched a very famous hero of Arabia...Lawrence of Arabia!

But wait, my name isn't Lawrence though! Turns out that when my father was looking through the list of boy names, he came across a Loren and decided to name me that immediately. Why? Well, one, it reminded him of Lawrence of Arabia. Secondly, it was shorter! Only 5 letters rather than the longggg 8 letter name, Lawrence. Yeah, and ever since I was born, I have had to defend my name, spelling it correctly (Loren, not Lauren!) to everyone I meet and saying that 'Loren' is a boy's name (I have seen at least 4 Lorens...all girls...). Never had I said I was named after a brave Arabian knight.

FAQBNA 2:
What's with you and the number 7?

SBI:
It's my lucky number. I actually liked the number 7 before I had a reason, then my middle school science teacher showed me a Bill Nye video. Go to 1:45 of this video.

It totally convinced me why it was my lucky number! So likely!
Also, the letter "L" upside-down makes the letter 7. It was meant to be! Lucky Loren!
And now I use #7 more often in my screen name and etc...
It's also funny cause the next thing they show in the video after the dice one is probability of finding clovers, like the Lucky Charms guy!
yeah, and my favorite color happens to be green. Everything makes sense!
A few of my favorite green friends.

They're magically delicious!

Some of you may understand how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle links to me.

Master Chief!
Which leads me to the next question...

FAQBNA 3:
Masta Lin?

SBI:
As you may have heard, I play video games. One of my favorite was Halo. I got really good at it and the main character somehow became my idol. I didn't want to take the title "Master Chief" as myself, so I kinda switched it up a bit and named myself...

MASTA LIN

Last FAQBNA:
Why are you doing pic a day?

SBI:

It's because of his silly dancing and his travels across the world, I was inspired by him. Matt brings the whole world together with his bad dancing and gives everyone a warm feeling every time you watch it. Bad dancing around the world is the key to world peace! I wanted to do the same and try to take pictures from everywhere I take my laptop. I also did this do see how much I've grown or keep memories of the time of that day. Even though I may not be at Sydney Opera House or as far as the cottages in Timbuktu, I'll try my best to have interesting pictures each day.

Here's a good example of fellowship with bad dancing!

Hope you enjoy my secrets. My spilled beans. My Cool Beans.
