Hello there

Right now I am in The Roost (Gameroom of UTSA), but don't worry, I'm not playing any games. Just thought I hang around here by myself in this fun environment. I noticed the position of the TV changed. It's lower than before, which is great because i hated looking up to see the screen. hurts my neck! I'm going to take a pic of myself in the Roost. hopefully no one looks at me awkwardly...

Anyways, my macbook is A-OK right now. I really thought I screwed up and lost everything. But everything was saved. and It was the same settings I had. So basically I had to change...Nothing! it's great! No more worrying about a messed up computer now! I feel like I've said this before. I'm just really glad.

There's a little boy in front of me playing Gears of War 2. He looks like he's...eleven...
Anyways, I'm off. To the gym!

Macbook fail

Worse thing ever today.

I go against my word and try to make Starcraft work on my computer.

bad idea.

I installed an update and my macbook would freeze at the start-up screen. That was then I was really regretting even trying to attempt to play... I was so frustrated with it and hated myself for doing stupid things. I started to miss my easy going, convenient computer until adverse problems showed up. So I called Apple support and they told me to just reformat the whole computer again. It was a pain in the ass, but it was to have my old normal computer life again.

I lost everything, my documents and applications I have downloaded on this macbook. Luckily I have Time Machine to restore my old files and programs. Backed it up 5 days ago, not too long ago. hopefully i'll be familiar with it...

I just want to say my Awesome macbook > Starcraft.

It's not worth playing games anymore. Forget it. I quit at games. Thank you Apple for preventing me from wasting my time for a stupid 2-D GAME! ARGHH!

Starcraft

For about a week, I have been trying and trying different ways to install Starcraft on my computer! None of them have actually worked! I did at least 7 things to play starcraft, even demoes! All of them failed to do so! And the only solution to play starcraft was to play it on a windows platform on my notebook. But my sister has it and isn't going to send it until 2 weeks later! WOW! So i gave up and it was WAY too much trouble.

But now, looking back at my previous posts, I know that I shouldn't even be playing games on my computer at all! That's the reason I got a Mac in the first place cause i know that I would be playing games like crazy if I had a windows platform! to be more productive with its convenience and quickness rather than the always playing games computer and slow vista...blech.

I just want to say im glad i got a mac. got no problems so far except for playing games, which is actually a good thing sometimes. :)

remember new years resolution..."don't play as much games" I can still play games, but not obsessively.

i felt bad for donald researching on how i could play starcraft on this mac. he spent at least 4 hours trying to figure it out. when i was so close to actually playing, it just game suddenly quits. I'll do him a favor later for his hard work. even if his hard work was put to waste because i suddenly didnt care for starcraft anymore.

its 5 am now and i am suppose to go to hana church at 12 with donald in return for helping me with starcraft. will i be able to wake up? :/

and i am glad i got marco to eat at J&K. his first time. He loved it just as i loved it. life changing, kinda.
dangit, now i want some sushi...

Achieving Your Childhood Dreams

This is inspiring. Watch it if you have time.

I've always wanted to achieve certain things, but achieved it cause would be discouraged or not wanting it badly enough - finding myself staring at a brick wall. Why are there brick walls there for???

"Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want something badly enough. They are there to keep out the other people."

Oh.
Yeah, you get the idea.
Ask yourself.
If you want something, do you really want it?

It reminds me of the piece of paper that has been on my sister's bedroom door for about 8 years! It read:
"If you are not actively involved in getting what you want, you don't really want it."

I always looked at it and thought it was just a silly quote. Now I understand...

Sisters: Want=Architect Got=Architect
Me: Want=No idea Got=nothing (so far)

My sisters really put a lot of effort into their works and dreams. Whereas I need to work on having the same mindset like them...

But it's not how to achieve your dreams. It's about how to lead your life.
"If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you."~Randy Pausch
